The five day workshop was run my Screen NSW. Advisors included screenwriter Andrew Bovell (Lantana, Head On), screenwriter/director/producer Jocelyn Moorehouse (Proof, Muriels Wedding, Peter Pan), US producer Anne Carey (Thumbsucker, The American) and UK producer Olivia Stewart (Velvet Goldmine, Brassed Off). Simon's long time producer David Curzon also attended the workshop. The team were assigned two advisors post workshop (Andrew Bovell and Jocelyn Moorehouse) to help take the script to the next draft and a further workshop in November 2011.
