Dog Eat Dog has received development funding from Screen NSW and will take part in the Aurora Script workshop to be held in Sydney in late March 2011. Dog Eat Dog was one of four projects from across NSW to be selected for the workshop.  Advisors for the workshop include Andrew Bovell, Jocelyn Moorhouse, Anne Carey and Olivia Stewart. The funding lasts for twelve months and includes a subsequent workshop to be held in November where screenplays will be workshopped with actors. Previous films that have taken part in Aurora include Animal Kingdom, Somersault and Little Fish.
